ℹ️ How to use the simulator
  1. Click and drag components from the left-hand panel onto the canvas
  2. Click a red port on one component, then click a red port on another to connect them with a pipe
  3. Click ▶ SIMULATE to start the simulation — blue pipes show pressurised air
  4. Click buttons and valves during simulation to see the circuit respond
  5. Click ■ STOP to return to build mode
  6. Use Switch to Symbols to toggle between block and ISO symbol views

✏️ Simulation tasks
  1. Build a simple circuit containing an air supply, a 3/2 button valve and a single-acting cylinder. Test it using the simulate button.
  2. Modify your circuit to use a 5/2 pilot-pilot valve and a double-acting cylinder.
  3. Switch to symbol view. Can you identify all the ISO symbols?
  4. Add a flow restrictor to control the speed of your cylinder. What effect does the restriction percentage have?
Tip: You can save your circuit at any time using the save button in the toolbar. Load it again in a future lesson to continue your work.
